I think she got the MS from her husband whose work-place is with a Microsoft partnership. If unable to provide a better explanation of how they're offering a product to the general public that was created for MSDN. I'm going to request a refund, as I've always purchased legally licensed Microsoft products. It appears to be a product that's been discontinued and no longer available to MSDN and Technet clients. Discontinued products sometime have changes made to their licensing. Perhaps the company upgraded and asked Microsoft what they should or could do with the outdated MS Office MSDN retail licenses and were given permission to do what ever they pleased? As stated when I contact Microsoft providing them with the key code and also gave remote access to my PC so they could explore the installation. They said it was one hundred percent legit and I could install on another PC by calling them. Microsoft never mentioned anything about the MSDN retail licensing which they must have know about after exploring it's installation on my PC.
